Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Forklift Operator and Warehouse Worker, where your skills will drive efficiency and safety in a fast-paced logistics environment. In this role, you will operate various types of heavy equipment, manage inventory, and support seamless warehouse distribution processes. Duties Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to load and unload materials efficiently. Manage inventory through barcode scanning, warehouse management systems (WMS), and accurate order picking to ensure precise stock levels. Assist in shipping and receiving activities by preparing shipments, verifying orders, and maintaining detailed logs of inbound and outbound goods. Conduct manual handling of materials with proper lifting techniques to prevent injury and adhere to OSHA safety standards. Perform routine equipment repairs or report malfunctions promptly to maintain optimal operation of all material handling equipment. Support warehouse management by organizing storage areas, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Follow all safety protocols related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Experience Prior experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts (including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks) and manual handling tools like pallet jacks or lift trucks. Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics accuracy, and shipping & receiving procedures. Familiarity with warehouse safety standards in production environments and adherence to OSHA guidelines. Experience in inventory management, order picking, load & unload processes, and materials handling within a distribution setting. Strong basic math skills for counting inventory and verifying shipment quantities. Previous warehouse supervision experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is a plus but not required.
