Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sit down Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating stand-up forklifts and other heavy equipment to efficiently load, unload, and move materials within our distribution center. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse operations, accurate order picking, and timely shipping and receiving processes. Responsibilities Operate sit down forklift and transport materials throughout the warehouse Perform order picking using various equipment such as pickers and order picker machines to fulfill customer orders accurately Manage warehouse inventory by organizing stock in designated areas using warehouse management systems (WMS) Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments, inspecting loads, and ensuring proper documentation Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal forklift performance and safety compliance Support warehouse distribution processes by handling materials with care during heavy lifting tasks and ensuring proper stacking on pallets or racks Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environment at all times Skills Proven experience operating stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, order picking techniques, and materials handling best practices Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during order fulfillment Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy Excellent understanding of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety Join our team as a Stand Up Forklift Operator if you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your skills make a real impact!
