Job Description
We are looking for an experienced hazmat endorsed truck driver to haul heated oil from Fallon, Nevada to Fernley, Nevada. This is a part-time position ranging from 1 load a week to 3 loads a week. There are about 2 loads a month that are scheduled on Saturdays. Responsibilities Transport raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Skills Proven work experience as a truck driver Have a current hazmat endorsement Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) Valid truck driving license
