This role involves maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols, and supporting daily warehouse production goals.
Key Responsibilities Material Handling:
Load and unload incoming/outgoing shipments from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers using powered industrial trucks (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, or order pickers).
Inventory Control:
Transport goods from storage racks to production areas, loading docks, or packing stations. Scan barcodes and update inventory management systems (WMS) to track material movements.
Equipment Inspection:
Perform daily pre-operational vehicle inspections (checking fluid levels, battery/fuel status, brakes, controls, and tire condition) and log maintenance issues promptly.
Safety & Maintenance:
Comply strictly with company safety rules and OSHA standards. Keep aisles, loading bays, and staging areas clear of debris and hazard-free.
Order Fulfillment:
Locate, retrieve, and stack products according to picking sheets or digital scanner instructions to ensure fast and accurate order fulfillment.
salary:
