Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate and Forklift Operator, where your energy and technical skills will drive our logistics operations forward! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, operating heavy equipment safely, and supporting seamless warehouse distribution. Your proactive approach will ensure accurate order fulfillment, safe handling of materials, and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities Operate various types of warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, move, and organize materials. Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, recording transactions in inventory management software and warehouse management systems like AS400. Assist with order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving to ensure timely delivery and order accuracy. Conduct manual handling of materials with proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), following OSHA safety regulations and safety protocol adherence. Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking shelves, organizing storage areas, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse operations and improve logistics efficiency. Use technical proficiency to troubleshoot heavy equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks as needed. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cranes, cherry pickers, or forklifts in a warehouse setting. Strong understanding of inventory management processes and warehouse operations. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following safety guidelines. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry. Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse management systems like AS400 or similar platforms. Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is highly preferred. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
