Job Description
Forklift Operator Interstate Wholesale Fence , a leading fence manufacturer, is looking for a candidate who can embrace this position and encompass the values this long-standing company prides itself on.
Position Overview:
Responsible for all assigned tasks relating to loading and unloading of material. Keeping material clean and organized while relocating it. Safety is a priority in this position. Attention to detail and the ability to follow a manifest. Responsibilities of a Forklift Operator include but are not limited to:- Report to supervisor at beginning of shift for daily task list.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Operate forklift with the utmost responsibility. Do not carelessly or recklessly operate.
- Maintain an organized work area. All material has assigned areas.
- Staging material in the correct area for truck deliveries next day.
- Perform other duties necessary for the effective operation of the department.
Position requirements:
- High School or GED preferred.
- 1 year of relevant experience.
- Commitment to detail.
- Strong communication skills and an incredible team player.
