In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of material handling equipment—including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo lifts—to efficiently load, unload, and transport goods within our distribution center. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse distribution, accurate inventory management, and safe handling of materials. Duties Safely operate a variety of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo lifts to load and unload shipments Pick and pack orders accurately using barcode scanning technology and warehouse management systems Load and unload materials from trucks while adhering to OSHA safety protocols and manual handling best practices Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for any issues to ensure optimal operation Manage inventory levels through precise stock counting, recording in warehouse management systems, and organizing materials for efficient storage Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipment details and ensuring proper documentation Follow all safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and promote a safe working atmosphere Requirements Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or Hi-Lo lifts within a warehouse setting Strong understanding of warehouse operations including inventory management, order picking, shipping & receiving procedures Knowledge of safety standards in production environments (OSHA compliance) and forklift safety protocols Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting with proper technique to prevent injury Basic math skills for counting inventory and verifying shipment quantities Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and materials handling equipment operation Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Valid forklift certification preferred; experience with equipment repair is a plus Join us in delivering excellence through safe, efficient warehouse operations!
