Onsite Role Overview BEPC is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to support our client's material handling operations in Columbus, OH. This entry-level position is responsible for safely operating powered industrial trucks and lifting equipment to support the loading, moving, and handling of materials. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a strong commitment to workplace safety, and up to one year of previous forklift or material handling experience. Key Responsibilities Safely operate gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered industrial trucks. Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices. Load, move, transport, and position materials as required. Use lifting equipment such as forklifts, elevating platforms, or buckets as appropriate. Follow established safety procedures while operating powered industrial equipment. Inspect the work area and equipment to support safe material handling operations. Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, materials, and equipment while operating a forklift. Support general material movement and warehouse activities as assigned. Follow established workplace procedures and operational requirements. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 0-1 year of previous forklift, warehouse, or material handling experience. Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks and lifting equipment. Familiarity with gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered industrial equipment is preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to workplace safety. Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned schedule.
