Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks, to efficiently load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift openings!
Essential Duties:
Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments Pick and prepare orders accurately using order picker equipment and warehouse management systems Manage inbound and outbound shipping & receiving processes with precision and attention to detail Conduct routine equipment repairs and mechanical troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of all machinery Assist in warehouse distribution tasks, including stacking pallets, organizing inventory, and ensuring proper storage practices Support warehouse supervisor in inventory control, cycle counts, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace Follow OSHA safety regulations and best practices for heavy equipment operation and materials handling Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse setting Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picking procedures Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift Basic math skills for inventory counting and measurement tasks Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and materials handling Warehouse experience with shipping & receiving processes preferred Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety compliance and quality control Valid certification for forklift operation (preferred but not mandatory) #INDOH1
Pay:
$23.50 - $24.50 per hour
