Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Previous forklift experience required Experience operating stand-up, sit-down, and/or cherry picker forklifts preferred Basic computer skills required Inventory and order picking experience preferred Job Duties Operate stand-up, sit-down, and cherry picker forklifts safely Pick and prepare customer orders accurately Perform palletizing and material handling tasks Assist with inventory counts and stock organization Verify products against packing slips, purchase orders, and receiving documentation Maintain a clean and safe work environment Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals Physical Capabilities Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments. Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.   • Misael, Staffmark Associate What You Will Do As a Forklift Operator you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations.
You will inspect equipment before use, replenish inventory locations, support shipping and receiving activities, verify product movement, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure safe, efficient material handling throughout the facility. The Forklift Operator plays an important role in warehouse and manufacturing operations by operating forklifts to support inventory movement and material handling. This position requires strong spatial awareness, attention to detail, and safe operating practices. Successful Forklift Operator candidates understand warehouse workflows, equipment inspections, inventory procedures, and safe material handling while supporting productive daily operations. Consistent performance contributes directly to warehouse efficiency. This role rewards individuals who enjoy technical equipment operation.
