Job Description:
Individual must operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner; have knowledge of warehouse layout, feed codes, and date codes. Individual will keep the palletizer operating in a safe and efficient manner at all times. The palletizer operator must know and understand all the equipment including, but not limited to: forklift trucks, palletizer machinery, and shrink wrapper. Individual will keep the palletizer supplied with ample amounts of slip-sheets, pallets, and shrink-wrap. The Palletizer Operator will place all good product in the proper location within the guidelines of EQMS. The Palletizer Operator is required to keep an accurate count of all good product handled and communicate these accurate counts to the Packer Operator for work order completion. All extra bag counts, including setoffs and metal detector kickoffs, will also be reported to the Packer Operator. All empty bags will be properly stored in their assigned locations. Operator is responsible for monitoring the palletizer and removing product as it reaches the end of the line. Palletizer operators will not cause the palletizer to shut down due to product on the discharge sections. Palletizer operators will help troubleshoot and work with maintenance to keep the palletizers running. Provide the customer with a clean, well-presented product free of damages. All Production Operators will comply with the site Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), including housekeeping guidelines and complete all necessary paperwork, written and electronic.

Production Supervisor or Lead Person Qualifications/Skills:
High school or GED education required Entry level position; typically requires no experience Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds from the floor to a height of 50 inches using safe lifting practices Able to withstand heights such as tops of bins, legs, and other equipment Proficient in basic computer skills Must be able to perform simple math with calculator
Pay:
$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
