Description:

Forklift Operator Key Responsibilities Operate Crown stand-up forklifts, high-reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks (EPJ) to move, store, and retrieve products throughout the warehouse. Load and unload trucks while supporting inbound and outbound warehouse operations . Pick full pallets and perform case picking/order selecting using RF scanners and warehouse management systems. Accurately place products in designated storage locations while maintaining proper inventory rotation. Follow all GMPs, SOPs, and safety regulations when handling FDA-regulated food products. Verify order accuracy, identify discrepancies, and correct inventory or documentation errors. Use basic math skills to validate counts, reconcile inventory, and confirm shipment quantities. Utilize RF scanners and computer systems to track inventory movements and support shipping/receiving activities. Assist with general warehouse operations, including material handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Demonstrate reliable attendance and strong performance to support career growth and pay progression. Required Qualifications Experience operating stand-up forklifts , including Crown stand-up and high-reach equipment. Knowledge of truck loading/unloading and warehouse distribution processes. Experience using RF scanners and basic warehouse computer systems. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for inventory and shipment verification. Capability to work physically demanding shifts and lift up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Ability to identify and resolve operational or inventory discrepancies. Stable work history with proven reliability and consistent performance. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) . Experience with SAP or similar inventory management systems. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, order picking, inbound/outbound logistics, or warehouse operations. Experience operating electric pallet jacks (EPJ) and other material handling equipment. Ability to work in a semi-climate-controlled warehouse environment. Flexibility to work 12-hour day or night shifts , including rotating schedules and every other Wednesday.
