We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse/Driver to join our team to work for a national beverage company. This role involves operating various types of commercial vehicles, managing warehouse tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to handle physical moving tasks. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with diverse responsibilities, supporting efficient logistics and warehouse operations. Responsibilities Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles including box trucks, flatbeds, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and other heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks Load and unload goods efficiently using appropriate equipment and techniques Deliver products to various locations while adhering to route schedules and safety regulations Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and moving supplies or equipment as needed Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and any logistical issues Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving including shuttle driving, route driving, or heavy haul preferred Must pass background check including drug screening and clean MVR Experience operating various commercial vehicles such as box trucks, tractor-trailers, dump trucks, or school buses Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently using forklifts or pallet jacks; familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus Strong communication skills for coordinating deliveries and maintaining safety standards Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with freight handling is advantageous Physical ability to move heavy loads and perform manual tasks regularly Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and commercial vehicle operation This position is integral to our logistics operations, requiring a dedicated individual capable of managing both driving responsibilities and warehouse duties efficiently.
