Forklift Operator Details:
Temporary position $17.00 /hour Full Time work available Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 01:30pm to 10:00pm) Operate stand-up forklifts and cherry pickers safely and efficiently to load, unload, move, stack, and retrieve materials and products. Utilize RF scanners to accurately track inventory, complete orders, and maintain precise warehouse records for receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping operations. Perform daily pre-operation and post-operation checks on forklifts and other equipment, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Organize and maintain the warehouse floor for optimal space utilization, cleanliness, and accessibility, adhering to all safety guidelines. Assist with general warehouse duties as needed to support overall operational efficiency.
Forklift Operator Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Forklift Operator, with previous certification in forklift operation. Must have 6 months of Cherry Picker or High Reach Forklift, and have operated within the last 6 months. Must be able to able continuously lift 40 pounds, bend, and stand for 8+ hours per day. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written, for safety reasons. Candidates must be willing and able to commute to the worksite in Wilkes barre, PA for each scheduled shift and have their own reliable transportation.
