Job Description

Job Description The Shipping Dock Worker is responsible for safely and efficiently handling products in a refrigerated shipping environment. This position assists with preparing, loading, organizing, and moving products for shipment while maintaining a clean and safe work area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Load and unload products from trucks and trailers. Move, stage, and organize products in the refrigerated shipping area. Verify products and quantities for outgoing shipments. Ensure products are properly handled to prevent damage. Maintain an organized and clean shipping dock. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Operate pallet jacks and other approved material-handling equipment as required. Work effectively in refrigerated/cold temperatures for extended periods. Communicate with supervisors, drivers, and other team members regarding shipments. Perform other shipping and warehouse duties as assigned. Job Requirements Ability to report to work and be ready to begin the shift at 6:00 AM . Ability to work in a refrigerated environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift. Ability to lift and move products safely. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures. Previous shipping, warehouse, or dock experience is preferred but not required.
Starting Pay:
$17.40 per hour
