Job Description

The Shipper is responsible for efficiently and accurately loading and unloading trucks, labeling, scanning, and picking orders. The ideal candidate will possess forklift certification for a minimum of 2 years and demonstrate proficiency in various shipping tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. This is a 1st shift position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain forklift certification to safely operate forklift equipment. Operate forklift to move product, load and unload trucks. Read and understand the Pick Ticket to ensure product is correctly pulled and staged. Re-label boxes as needed. Utilize scanning devices to move and track products throughout the shipping process. Create master labels for efficient identification and tracking of shipments. Unload trucks and move product to designated areas, following established procedures. Communicate effectively with the Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Lead, providing updates and addressing any issues or concerns. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years experience in shipping or warehouse operations. Strong consistent work history. Forklift Certified 2 or more years. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Ability to work overtime as needed. Must be punctual and dependable
