Amazon is hiring Warehouse Equipment Operators to keep our fulfillment network running smoothly. In this fast-paced, on-site role, you'll operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial trucks to move, store, and load inventory safely and efficiently. You'll use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track products, stage and wrap pallets, and support inbound and outbound operations. You'll uphold strict safety and quality standards, collaborate with your team, and contribute to continuous improvement in a highly data-driven, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial trucks to move, load, and unload inventory. Follow safety procedures and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Use RF scanners and WMS systems to track, scan, and record inventory movements. Stage, wrap, and secure pallets for storage and outbound shipments. Inspect equipment before use and report or troubleshoot basic mechanical issues. Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to 5 S and housekeeping standards. Meet or exceed productivity, accuracy, and quality targets for assigned tasks. Collaborate with shift leads and teammates to prioritize workflow and resolve issues. Follow standard operating procedures and respond to changing demand in a fast-paced setting. Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on process enhancements.
