Permanent Employment Help for . The Forklift (FL) Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and organize materials within the warehouse and yard. This position also requires operating a yard truck or pickup truck with a trailer to transport materials and equipment between designated locations. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is not required, but candidates must be comfortable and capable of safely driving a trailer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently.
Load, unload, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
Drive a truck with a trailer to move materials between company locations or job sites as needed (CDL not required).
Secure loads and ensure safe transportation of materials.
Perform daily pre-use inspections of forklifts, trucks, trailers, and other equipment.
Maintain accurate inventory movement records and complete required documentation.
Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and traffic laws.
Assist with receiving, shipping, stocking, and general warehouse operations.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate daily operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
