Overview:

Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, move, and stage materials and products. Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled safely and accurately. Transport pallets and materials throughout the warehouse or production area. Inspect the forklift before each shift and report any mechanical or safety issues. Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and proper forklift operating procedures. Verify product quantities, labels, and pallet conditions before moving materials. Maintain accurate inventory and shipping/receiving documentation as required. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards. Assist with general warehouse duties when needed. Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, shipping/receiving personnel, and other departments. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

Previous sit-down forklift experience preferred. Current or recent OSHA-compliant forklift certification preferred. Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift in a warehouse environment. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials as required. Good attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Prior warehouse, manufacturing, shipping, or receiving experience is a plus.
