Job Description

Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is work related to shipping, receiving, inventory control, issuing and delivering required materials to production. Works with independence in carrying out duties with limited supervision. Maintain warehouse inventory.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • 2 plus years of experience in warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, and packaging of inventory is a plus.
  • Forklift experience with standard models and stand-up reach trucks (Forklift Certification preferred)
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Able to multitask and meet daily deadlines
  • Qualified applicant must have good English verbal and written communication skills
  • Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Forklift Operation - Moving controls, devices, and levers to drive forklifts and transfer materials between unloading, production, loading, and storage areas. Organizing and securing stored pallets and goods. Loading or unloading materials manually, off or on to pallets, platforms, skids, or lifting devices. Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment. Reporting to Shipping Manager regarding any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazards. Consulting, working, and coordinating with supervisors, managers, and employees regarding unloading and loading operations. Completing forklift operator training provided. Perform general clean-up tasks to keep work area clean and free of excess debris. Maintain personal work area in accord to

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required
  • High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
  • Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
  • Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
  • Maintain a clean & safe environment
  • May be required to use RF scanner gun
  • Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator's license may be required
  • Forklift Certification per OSHA standards
  • Able to follow instructions as directed by the supervisor.
  • Ability to stand for a long time.
  • Must have the sense of responsibility to accomplish tasks without supervision.
  • Physical ability to periodically lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
  • Should have strong hand-eye coordination.
