Collectively, our business segments provide sustainable, unmatched metal coating solutions that enhance the longevity and appearance of buildings, products and infrastructure that are essential to everyday life. Job DescriptionAZZ has an exciting 1st shift opportunity for a Forklift Operator at our Hurst facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the receipt and/or shipment of materials, supplies, and products. You will be working primarily in the yard in an enclosed forklift/spotter truck. Must be able to work outside in multiple weather conditions. Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive goods, verify order, inspect condition of goodsMove product to and from storage, production areas, and loading dock via forkliftScale incoming & outgoing loads on truck scale Upload photos and documents into our systemCoordinate outgoing shipments with shipping and receiving personalVerify identifying information - counts, weights, measurements, etc. against BOLs, invoices, orders and/or other recordsPerforms daily inspection of equipmentFollows all necessary processes and procedures in AZZ's truck driver policyForklift experience preferred though not necessaryPosition will cross train to various other roles within productionQualifications1 - 2 years related experience preferred.

Knowledge of raw materials, production process, quality control and costs, knowledge of hand tools and equipment is preferred.

Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Certified forklift operator is preferredMinimum EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent is helpful.
