Job Description

Forklift Operator for Steel and Heavy Equipment. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Certified Forklift Operator to join our team, supporting the safe and efficient movement of steel and heavy equipment within our facility. This role is vital to maintaining smooth operations and ensuring the timely delivery of materials. If you have experience operating forklifts in a heavy industrial environment and are committed to safety and accuracy, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport steel and heavy equipment within the warehouse, yard, or manufacturing site
  • Ensure proper handling and stacking of materials to prevent damage and maintain safety standards
  • Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of materials moved
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including organizing storage areas and preparing shipments Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, PTO, Paid Holidays, and Matching 401(k).
  • Current Forklift Certification
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a heavy industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Valid forklift certification/license
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to forklift operation and material handling
  • Ability to read and interpret safety instructions and work orders
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks as required
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team Compensation details: 21-23 Hourly Wage
