Join a dynamic team dedicated to efficient material handling and logistics within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating industrial trucks, tractors, and forklifts to move materials, supplies, and finished products throughout the facility safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, industrial trucks, and similar equipment to transport materials to and from storage, production lines, and shipping areas
  • Load and unload materials using mechanical equipment, ensuring proper placement and secure transport
  • Inspect and maintain assigned vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues or damage to supervisors
  • Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others
  • Accurately record material movements and inventory transactions using handheld devices or paper logs
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle checks, and warehouse organization as needed
  • Support production teams by delivering raw materials and removing finished products in a timely manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments to coordinate material flows
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience operating forklifts or industrial trucks in a manufacturing or warehouse setting strongly desired
  • Valid industrial equipment certification or willingness to obtain certification through company training
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with moving materials
  • Basic math and reading skills for inventory and recordkeeping
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
