Summary As a Forklift Operator at Panel Specialists Inc., you will be an essential part of our manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient movement and handling of materials within our facility. This role is vital to maintaining our commitment to quality and timely production. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed. Perform order picking tasks accurately to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues promptly. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and inventory management. Ability to drive Box Truck to different buildings and on short runs as needed. Complete inspections on vehicles prior to operation and follow all safety procedures as outlined in safety handbook. Qualifications Proven experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role within a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety protocols. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks. Experience with shipping and receiving processes is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for order accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Must have valid driver's license and eligible to be insured.
