In this vital role, you will operate various types of material handling equipment—including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks—to safely load, unload, and transport goods within our distribution center. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, inventory control, and safety protocols will ensure seamless order fulfillment and optimal warehouse organization. This position offers an engaging environment where your skills directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments. Manage inventory using barcode scanning technology and warehouse management systems to track stock levels accurately. Perform order picking and packing tasks with precision to ensure correct items are shipped on time. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safety standards are met; perform basic repairs when necessary. Follow OSHA guidelines and warehouse safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for all team members. Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying incoming goods against purchase orders and preparing outbound shipments. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials efficiently and maintaining a clean, safe workspace for manual handling and heavy lifting tasks. Experience Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, or clamp trucks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management practices. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to materials handling equipment operation and warehouse safety protocols. Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order picking, load & unload activities, and heavy equipment operation like lift trucks or Hi-Lo forklifts. Strong manual handling skills combined with basic math abilities for inventory counts and measurements. Previous supervisory experience in warehouse operations or managing warehouse distribution processes is a plus but not required.
