Monday-Friday 1st Shift 6am-2:30pm Client Profile The client is best known as a third-party logistics provider specializing in warehousing, distribution, transportation, and supply chain management. Headquartered in Wytheville, Virginia, the company has served manufacturers and distributors throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast for more than 30 years. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a forklift to move materials, products, pallets, and containers. Load and unload trucks according to company procedures. Transport materials to designated warehouse and production areas. Properly stage and organize products and materials. Verify product quantities and locations when moving materials. Maintain accurate placement of inventory within designated storage areas. Inspect the forklift before and after use and report maintenance or safety concerns. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Maintain clean and organized work areas and keep aisles clear. Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties as needed. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other warehouse employees. Perform other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring Previous forklift experience required at least 2 years Current forklift certification is a plus. Ability to safely operate a forklift in a warehouse environment. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Good attention to detail and awareness of surroundings. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
