Job Description

At Blue Ridge Pallet, we keep the supply chain moving—literally. As the largest single pallet supplier in Virginia, we manufacture, repair, and ship 15-20 truckloads of pallets every day, supporting customers throughout Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and North Carolina. We're a family-oriented company with nearly 100 dedicated employees, many of whom have been with us for five years or more. Position Overview We're looking for a reliable, experienced, and safety-minded Forklift Operator to join our operations team. This position plays a critical role in loading and unloading trailers, staging inventory, and keeping production moving safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Load and unload pallet stacks and raw materials using a forklift Safely transport finished pallets to staging and shipping areas Load and unload trailers efficiently while minimizing product damage Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns Assist warehouse and yard teams with material handling as needed Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and yard procedures Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production and shipping goals Requirements Minimum of two years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Minimum of two years of experience operating a sit-down propane forklift Ability to safely lift 40-50 lbs throughout the workday Strong understanding of forklift safety and warehouse operations Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor and warehouse environment Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and strong work ethic What We Offer Starting Pay $19.00

7:00 AM- 4:30
PM Friday:
