Faithful Staffing Solutions is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our brick manufacturing facility in Lacey, WA. The Forklift Operator will safely operate a forklift to move, stage, load, and unload brick and other manufactured materials throughout the production facility and yard. This position involves handling heavy loads, with pallets weighing up to 10,000 lbs. Candidates must have the experience, awareness, and ability to safely operate equipment while handling extremely heavy materials. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a forklift to transport brick, pallets, raw materials, and finished products. Safely pick up, move, stage, and stack pallets weighing up to 10,000 lbs. Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently. Move and stage finished products throughout the yard and production areas. Stack and organize heavy materials according to company procedures. Maintain safe operating distances from pedestrians, vehicles, and other equipment. Perform daily forklift inspections and report any equipment issues. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. Communicate effectively with production, warehouse, and shipping personnel. Assist with general material handling and production-related duties as needed. Maintain an organized and safe work area. Work safely around heavy machinery, moving equipment, and manufactured building materials. Qualifications Previous forklift operating experience required . Experience handling heavy loads preferred . Current forklift certification preferred; training may be available depending on experience. Manufacturing, warehouse, construction-material, or yard experience is a plus. Ability to safely operate equipment and follow instructions. Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions. Ability to perform physical material-handling duties as required. Strong attendance and reliability are essential. Must be safety-conscious and able to follow strict safety procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical & Working Environment Position requires working in a brick manufacturing and outdoor yard environment . Exposure to dust, noise, heavy equipment, moving machinery, and varying weather conditions. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to safely enter and exit forklift equipment repeatedly throughout the workday. Ability to wear required PPE, including safety footwear and other protective equipment. Regularly operate equipment while transporting loads weighing up to 10,000 lbs. Must maintain constant awareness of surroundings when operating heavy equipment.
