e2137-98503 Job Description Step into a dynamic full-time, on-site opportunity supporting students communication and language development in a school-based pediatric setting. This position is perfect for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists with expertise in working with children and the requirements for practicing in a school environment. Youll collaborate with other educational professionals, offer tailored support, and empower students to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current, valid state license for Speech-Language Pathology. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Previous experience or strong interest in pediatric populations and school-based settings. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Adaptability, organization, and a commitment to making a positive impact.
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school staff to integrate therapy into students educational plans. Document progress, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal guidelines. Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed. Travel candidates are encouraged to apply and expand their career horizons!
