Forklift experience is mandatory .
Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities: Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility. Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions. Checking loads are secure, Stacking empty pallets. Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the trucks battery, Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards, Filling, labelling, and packaging totes and pallets of drums (liquid product).
Qualification requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent, Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required. High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment. Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records. Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner, Maintain a clean & safe environment. Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator's license are required.
Needs:
Site currently needs support for package filling and material handling so that more experienced personnel at the plant can continue making products without being pulled away to fill. Forklift Operator would need to be comfortable operating a packaging line. Simple operations which consist of pushing a button and allowing a tote / drum to fill. Assigned responsibilities would be limited to: Material handling
•moving material to/from a warehouse Labeling drums Labeling totes Packaging drums and totes Keeping the area clean/organized Forklift Operator would check in with the process technicians i.e. operators on a day-to-day basis and they will provide direction. They will be handling totes/ibcs and pallets of drums filled with liquids, as well as potentially pallets of powdered raw materials. Forklift experience is required. Driver's license is required.
Pay:
$19.00
•$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0
