Position Summary:
The Forklift/ High Reach Operator is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by efficiently receiving, transporting, and organizing materials throughout the facility. This role ensures accurate inventory management, safe material handling, and the timely preparation of orders for shipment. Operating forklifts—including high reach trucks—is essential, along with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards and safety protocols. \n
Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:
Receive and unload materials Stack materials on pallets and get orders ready to ship when needed Help keep inventory stocked and warehouse organized Use a forklift to move wire and materials around the building Follow safety rules and keep the work area organized
Knowledge/Skills/Requirements:
Skilled at operating a forklift; high reach experience preferred Able to read, understand, and follow general instructions and directions High school diploma or GED, OR one year of related factory experience, OR equal training Position Requirements Must wear required safety gear Takes part in ongoing company safety training Completes company forklift training and certification Physical Demands/Work Environment Work environment is similar to outdoor temperatures Stands, bends, and reaches often, for long stretches of time Moves around the facility often Lifts and carries material up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Sometimes needs to push, pull, or slide material up to 100 pounds; help is available when needed Must be able to visually check material quality Must be able to work in hot and cold conditions without climate control Must be able to work in person; this is a required part of the job Shift Schedule and Information Must be available to work one of the following times:
  • 1st Shift
  • 6:30am
