Role:

Build4Kidz Foundation is dedicated to addressing the housing crisis by providing safe, stable, and affordable housing solutions for children and families in need. We are seeking a highly motivated Director of Development to serve as our lead fundraiser and revenue driver. Working directly with the Executive Director, you will spearhead all philanthropic strategies, secure public and private grants, and cultivate major donor relationships to fund our community partnerships, property rehabilitations, and transitional housing developments.

Core Responsibilities:

Grant Acquisition:

Research, draft, and win grants related to community development and affordable housing from private foundations and government entities (e.g., state housing trusts, AmeriCorps).

Major Gifts & Donor Relations:

Identify, cultivate, and manage a portfolio of High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs) and corporate sponsors. Maintain accurate, up-to-date donor profiles, receipts, and disbursement records.

Campaign Execution:

Design and launch multimedia marketing campaigns, public appeals, and fundraising events to meet or exceed yearly organizational revenue goals.

Strategic Partnerships:

Establish and maintain key alliances with financial institutions, corporate sponsors, and community stakeholders to fund specific initiatives, including the 21-unit San Ygnacio Cottage Development.

Financial & CRM Management:

Integrate and manage the donor CRM, oversee budget projections for development campaigns, and ensure compliance with all grant reporting requirements.

Requirements:

Proven, documentable track record of fundraising expertise, securing major gifts, and winning non-profit grants. Strong background in non-profit management, corporate sponsorships, and planned giving. Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to pitch the Build4Kidz mission effectively to high-level donors and community leaders. Experience with donor management software, CRM integration, and managing multimedia marketing campaigns. Adept at multitasking, problem-solving, and executing strategic revenue projections independently.

Pay:

$100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
