00 per year Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Director of Development for a direct-hire opportunity in White Plains, NY. The Director of Development will focus on identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors to support the hospital's fundraising priorities. This position will work closely with hospital leadership, physicians, senior staff, and Foundation Board members to develop and secure major gifts. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of approximately 100-150 individual donors and prospects capable of making gifts of $10,000 or more, with a focus on $100,000+ gifts. Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward current and prospective major donors. Work closely with physicians to develop grateful-patient fundraising opportunities . Build and maintain strong relationships with donors through personal meetings, phone calls, written communications, and stewardship activities. Identify new donor prospects in collaboration with hospital leadership, physicians, senior staff, and Board volunteers. Prepare compelling fundraising proposals, donor communications, and stewardship reports. Partner with the Foundation Board of Directors on donor cultivation and solicitation. Support fundraising and cultivation events, including guest-list development and event briefings. Maintain a strong understanding of hospital programs and capital priorities in order to effectively communicate funding needs to donors. Accurately document donor interactions and portfolio activity in the RE NXT donor database . Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree

  • Required Master's degree
  • Preferred 5-10 years of progressively responsible fundraising/development experience
  • Required Experience in a nonprofit setting
  • Required Hospital or healthcare fundraising experience
  • Preferred Strong writing and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Strong problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively with donors, physicians, leadership, and Board members Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Why Consider This Opportunity?
