By building and preserving affordable housing through new construction, renovations, and home repairs, Habitat LA is transforming communities throughout Los Angeles County. Through access to affordable loans, housing counseling, down-payment assistance, skilled construction training, financial education, and volunteer opportunities the organization has strengthened families, helped stabilize communities, and fostered economic vitality in the region. On average, the affiliate builds and renovates 100 homes in the Los Angeles region each year, ranking it among the largest affiliates nationwide.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Associate Director of Individual Giving develops and executes fundraising strategies that increase annual revenue and donor engagement. The position manages key individual giving programs, cultivates and solicits a portfolio of donors and prospects, strengthens the mid-level donor pipeline, and supervises an entry-level fundraiser responsible for supporting annual giving and donor engagement activities.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•Lead, manage, and grow annual giving programs, including Cars for Homes, monthly giving, employee giving, Individual Build Days, peer-to-peer fundraising, cause marketing partnerships, and third-party fundraising activities. Establish revenue goals, strategies, timelines, and performance measures; monitor results; and use donor and program data to identify opportunities for growth. Supervise and develop an entry-level fundraiser by setting priorities, assigning work, providing coaching and feedback, monitoring performance, and supporting professional development. Manage a portfolio of approximately 50 to 75 donors and prospects, with an emphasis on cultivating and growing the mid-level donor pipeline. Develop and implement personalized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies; build relationships through outreach, meetings, events, and mission engagement opportunities; and identify and advance donors with the interest and capacity to increase their giving. Maintain accurate and complete donor records and use research, reporting, and analytics to inform fundraising strategy and decision-making. Document donor communications, interests, commitments, and next steps in the donor database; conduct donor and prospect research; track fundraising, portfolio, program, and communication metrics; and ensure data quality. Support signature events and collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute donor cultivation, stewardship, recognition, build, and third-party events. Engage donors and prospects before, during, and after events; coordinate timely outreach and follow-up; and represent the organization professionally with donors, volunteers, partners, and prospective supporters.
SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, background check, and a driving record check Reliable internet connection Availability to attend occasional evening or weekend donor events and organizational activities. Minimum of four years of experience in individual giving, annual giving, donor relations, fundraising, or nonprofit development. Demonstrated experience managing annual giving programs and developing strategies to increase donor participation and revenue. Experience managing a portfolio of donors and prospects, including cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and moves management. Proven ability to build and strengthen a mid level donor pipeline and identify donors with the capacity to increase their giving. Previous supervisory or team lead experience, including assigning work, coaching employees, providing feedback, and monitoring performance. Strong relationship building skills with the ability to engage donors, volunteers, corporate partners, and community stakeholders. Ability to analyze fundraising and donor data, evaluate program performance, and use findings to guide strategy. Proficiency with donor databases and CRM systems, such as Raiser's Edge NXT, Salesforce, or a comparable platform. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple fundraising programs, donor relationships, events, and deadlines simultaneously. Experience supporting donor cultivation, stewardship, recognition, peer to peer, and third party fundraising events. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate and confidential donor records.

COMPENSATION
Pay Range:
$72,000 - $85,000 Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Our offers range from entry to mid-level.
