Mosaic Minds Foundation is a growing nonprofit organization dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities, meaningful connections, and lifelong support for neurodivergent children, teens, adults, and their families. Through social groups, adaptive recreation, educational workshops, community partnerships, and future expansion, we're working to create one of Northern California's leading neurodiversity-focused community organizations. We're seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships to lead fundraising strategy, cultivate donor and corporate relationships, expand community partnerships, and help secure sustainable funding for our growing programs. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships, developing innovative fundraising strategies, and helping shape the future of a mission-driven nonprofit. Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising and development strategy. Build relationships with foundations, corporations, businesses, community organizations, and major donors. Identify and cultivate new funding opportunities. Develop sponsorship opportunities for programs, events, and community initiatives. Collaborate with leadership on long-term organizational growth. Work alongside the grant writing team to prioritize funding opportunities. Attend networking events, community meetings, conferences, and fundraising functions. Develop donor stewardship and recognition strategies. Assist with planning fundraising campaigns and special events. Build partnerships with schools, healthcare organizations, businesses, and community agencies. Track fundraising goals and provide regular progress updates. Help position Mosaic Minds Foundation for long-term sustainability and growth. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, Public Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, business development, strategic partnerships, or related leadership roles. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Professional public speaking and presentation skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local meetings and events. Preferred Master's degree. Experience working with nonprofits serving children, families, individuals with disabilities, education, healthcare, or mental health. Experience with donor management software (CRM). Experience supervising fundraising initiatives. Existing relationships within the Sacramento nonprofit or business community. $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
