501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization Position Overview Women In Pre-Med, Inc. is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Donor Outreach Specialist to help expand our donor network and strengthen relationships with individuals, medical professionals, businesses, foundations, and philanthropic organizations. The Donor Outreach Specialist will play an important role in identifying prospective donors, initiating outreach, following up with potential supporters, and helping convert relationships into meaningful financial support for WIPM's programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, organized, professional, and passionate about creating opportunities for women pursuing careers in medicine. Key Responsibilities Donor Prospecting Research and identify prospective individual, corporate, medical, and philanthropic donors. Build and maintain a donor prospect database. Identify businesses and organizations whose mission aligns with WIPM. Research potential major donors and philanthropic partners. Donor Outreach Send professional donor emails, letters, and messages. Conduct donor follow-up through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other appropriate channels. Introduce prospective donors to WIPM's mission, programs, and impact. Schedule introductory meetings and donor conversations. Maintain consistent communication with prospective supporters. Relationship Management Develop professional relationships with donors and prospective supporters. Track donor interactions, follow-ups, responses, and commitments. Send thank-you messages and donor acknowledgments. Assist with donor stewardship campaigns and appreciation initiatives. Fundraising Support Support WIPM's fundraising campaigns and annual giving initiatives. Assist with fundraising events and donor engagement activities. Help secure individual donations, recurring gifts, corporate contributions, and sponsorships. Support the Development Department in meeting monthly and annual fundraising goals. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Professional email and phone etiquette. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to conduct online research. Comfortable communicating with executives, physicians, business owners, and philanthropic leaders. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Passion for women's leadership, education, healthcare, or nonprofit development. Previous fundraising, sales, development, customer relations, or nonprofit experience is required .
