About ANSAR The Allied Network for Social Assistance and Resources (ANSAR) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting refugees, immigrants, and underserved populations throughout Western Pennsylvania. Position Summary ANSAR seeks a mission-driven Grant Writer & Communications Specialist to lead grant development efforts and strengthen organizational communications, marketing, and storytelling. Key Responsibilities- Research funding opportunities
- Write and submit grant proposals
- Manage grant reporting and compliance
- Develop newsletters and impact reports
- Manage website and social media content
- Support fundraising and community outreach initiatives Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of grant writing, development, or communications experience
- Excellent writing and project management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Canva, and social media platforms Preferred Qualifications Experience in refugee resettlement, immigration, social services, nonprofit development, and multilingual environments.
