Employment Type:
Part-Time Contractor(10-30 hours per week, flexible schedule) Research and identify new grant opportunities aligned with WoW's mission and programs.
Write clear, compelling, and tailored grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and funding requests.
Manage the grant application calendar and meet all deadlines.
Collaborate with program and finance staff to gather data, financials, and narratives for proposals and reports.
Track grant submissions, awards, reporting requirements, and funder communications.
Assist in developing reports and success stories to demonstrate program impact.
Qualifications
Proven experience in grant writing, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong research and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Commitment to WoW's mission of empowering forcibly displaced women.
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred.
Preferred:
Knowledge of funding sources that support refugee, immigrant, women's empowerment, or educational initiatives.
Familiarity with Salesforce or other donor management platforms.
