Full Job Description New Position Opportunity:
Development Coordinator Part-time, (up to 25 hours/week), Hybrid Remote. Flexible schedule. Some evenings and weekends as needed $20-25/hr DOE 403b, Dental, EAP and PTO Reports to Development Director Position Summary Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting all fundraising efforts collaboratively, under the guidance of the Development Director.
Work activities may include:
Event planning Donor database management Graphic design Social and traditional marketing Community building through newsletter and e-mail campaigns Providing administrative support for new family fundraising committee Other assignments as assigned This is a new development program for the organisation as a whole, and thus requires an ambitious, flexible and creative problem solver with high integrity and strong organisational skills. Candidate must have exceptional communication skills, be a self driven task master, a love of children and their families and a hold a focus on the goal of fostering healthy work relationships. Development Coordinator must feel comfortable trying new things and building programs collaboratively from the ground up. The ideal candidate has experience and proficiency with the following: Community fundraising within nonprofit sector CRM (Donor Database Management software) Google Suite products Social Media and other community facing marketing Canva or other graphic design software Preferred Qualifications Existing relationships with local community leaders and potential grassroots donors Experience with early childcare sectors Financial management such as bookkeeping, budgeting and reporting Experience with capital campaigns Grant writing and reporting Must pass a Central Background Registry check to safely observe, work, and engage within the center.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
