They've got a disability. Maybe they stopped driving. Maybe the family's working all day and there's nobody around. So they sit home alone, and they get worse. Body and mind both. We run an adult day health center in Hudson county. We have Nurses on site, hot meals, therapy, activities, a shuttle that picks you up and takes you home, and more. It's an amazing program we're very proud of and it makes a real difference. The problem is, most families who qualify have no idea we exist. Your job is to go find them. You'll build real relationships with the people who already know them. Discharge planners at the hospitals, social workers, case managers, doctor's offices, senior buildings, home care agencies, churches and community groups. So when they run into somebody stuck at home, we're who they think of. This isn't a desk job. You're out in the field most days. Nobody's handing you a script or a list of names. You figure out who you need to know, you build it, and you keep it going.
