The Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation exists to support Pullman Regional Hospital by increasing awareness of Pullman Regional's needs and services and facilitating philanthropic efforts to advance the hospital and healthcare for the community. Additionally, the Foundation provides prudent management and stewardship of donor-entrusted funds and assets. The Development Officer is a frontline fundraising donor relations position responsible for assessing, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding annual and mid-level donors for long-term sustainable engagement. This position will also manage annual giving programs that align with the Foundation's Strategic Management Plan, and partner with the Executive Director to successfully execute a capital campaign to expand patient care at Pullman Regional. This position is relationship-based. The successful candidate must have a proven record of active frontline fundraising experience where the fundraiser has established meaningful relationships with donors and guided those relationships throughout the fundraising cycle of assessment, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Engage with annual, mid- and major giving donors, both individuals and corporations, and solicit for support of fundraising priorities. Demonstrate excellent follow-through of donor inquiries and stewardship of donor funds. Manage a portfolio of prospects and donors (~75-100). Activities are documented in a timely manner in the foundation's CRM. Must have experience carrying out various stewardship activities that correlate to various gift levels and giving programs. Develop creative and relevant strategies to re-engage with lapsed donors and retain current ones. Demonstrate successful performance of duties while working within the Foundation's operating budget. Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 5 years' experience as a frontline fundraising professional Excellent listening skills Curious and visionary Strong communication skills (verbal and written) An independent leader who can also work well in group environments Has an ability to learn and utilize new technologies Has an ability to manage time, tasks, and resources appropriately Has experience working with non-profit boards and committees Has experience planning, managing, and/or executing capital campaigns Has a willingness and desire to participate in organizational activities that help carry out Pullman Regional's strategic priorities of Culture, Reliability, and Growth A Wow ifYou Have:
Member of an affiliated non-profit organization such asAHP, AFP, CASE
Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) or similar credential Experience in healthcare non-profit organizationsCompany Perks:
