Infant/Toddler Specialist Job Site:
Elkins, WV or Martinsburg, WV Job Synopsis:
Plan and provide specialized professional development and technical assistance/coaching to administrators and childcare providers of children birth to 35 months in a 15-county service delivery area. Work as a member of an early childhood Professional Development Team. Work on special projects and continuous quality improvement.Desirable Qualifications:
Experience and/or working knowledge of infant and toddler development and developmental milestones. Excellent communication, presentation, and teaching/training skills. Ability to work effectively with a team. Preference will be given to individuals with PITC Certification and training for Infant/Toddler Environmental Rating Scale (ITERS-3). Computer literate.Education/Experience:
Preferred:
A master's degree in early childhood, developmental psychology, educational psychology, or child development. One year of professional experience working with infants and toddlers. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in early childhood, developmental psychology or child development. One year of professional experience working with infants and toddlers.WV STARS
credential and meet qualifications to be an Entity Approved Professional Development Provider through the WV State Training and Registry System. Valid driver's license. APS/CPS check and a clear criminal background check with no charges related to child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, or drug charges.Deadline to apply:
