In this pivotal role, you will lead daily store operations, foster a positive customer experience, and support the management team in driving sales and achieving business goals. Your energetic leadership will ensure smooth store functions, effective team management, and outstanding service delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills while making a tangible impact in a fast-paced retail environment. Duties Assist with overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures Support recruitment efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new employees Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential Supervise team members, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to enhance productivity Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and payroll processing to maintain accuracy and compliance Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales momentum Skills Strong negotiation abilities to secure favorable vendor agreements and resolve customer concerns effectively Proven experience in employee orientation, training & development, and supervising teams in retail settings Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is highly valued Expertise in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new staff members with a focus on building strong teams Proficiency with retail management systems such as POS (Point of Sale), inventory management software, and bookkeeping tools Demonstrated leadership with previous assistant manager or store management experience Skilled in retail math for pricing strategies, sales analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Knowledge of grocery store operations or similar retail environments is a plus Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining high levels of customer service excellence Join us as an Assistant Manager if you're passionate about leading teams, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and driving retail success!
