My Place Hotel - Loveland, CO Position Summary My Place Hotel - Loveland, CO is seeking an experienced and hands‑on General Manager to lead the overall operation of our hotel. This role oversees a multifaceted business and is ideal for a leader who is comfortable balancing strategy with day‑to‑day execution. As General Manager, you will be directly involved in all areas of hotel operations, guiding the team while ensuring a high standard of service, safety, and efficiency. This position requires flexibility, strong leadership, and a willingness to step in wherever needed to keep the hotel running smoothly. Key Responsibilities The General Manager is responsible for overall hotel performance, including operations, people leadership, financial oversight, and guest satisfaction. This role leads planning efforts, makes operational decisions, and ensures brand standards are consistently met. Core responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies to support occupancy, revenue, and long‑term success; overseeing hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management for all hotel employees; maintaining compliance with safety, security, and operational standards; and ensuring all areas of the property are clean, functional, and well‑maintained. The General Manager also manages financial functions such as cash handling, payroll accuracy, and basic accounting oversight. Additional duties include supporting sales and marketing initiatives, monitoring competitive activity in the local market, building positive community relationships, and promoting the My Place Hotels brand and Stay Rewarded loyalty program internally and externally. This role requires hands‑on leadership, including the ability to perform any hotel function such as guest services, night audit, housekeeping, maintenance support, guest assistance, and shuttle driving if applicable. Qualifications and Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven multitasking and organizational abilities Understanding of basic building systems and maintenance oversight Dependable, professional, and consistent leadership approach Strong attention to detail with the ability to uphold brand standards Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to travel by vehicle and airplane. Inspect all areas of the hotel property, including walking up and down stairs. Respond to emergencies involving guests or staff, and perform the essential duties of any hotel position when needed. Licensing, Education, and Experience Valid driver's license with the ability to be insured for driving Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required Supervisory Responsibility This position directly supervises and leads all hotel staff. Travel Requirements Occasional overnight travel is required. Safety Expectations The General Manager must follow and enforce all safety standards while working within the hotel, operating motor vehicles, and performing duties on behalf of the company.
Compensation and Benefits Competitive Pay:
