Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Manager with hands-on production experience working with hazardous materials and SDS requirements in a chemical or similar regulated setting. This General Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across production, warehouse, inventory, and fulfillment functions, be responsible for driving operational efficiency, maintaining strong safety culture, developing high-performing teams, and supporting the continued growth and scalability of the organization. The ideal candidate will review financial performance and KPIs, coach/manage operations managers/supervisors, assume full responsibility for operational budgeting and P&L, and ensure own site OSHA compliance while keeping the lines running safely and efficiently.   • Lead and continuously improve operational systems, workflows, processes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Promote and maintain a strong culture of workplace safety while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and other applicable requirements.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, inventory control, fulfillment activities, and material movement throughout the operation.
  • Develop workforce plans to effectively manage seasonal fluctuations, staffing demands, and changing business needs.
  • Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop team members while building a collaborative and high-performing leadership team.
  • Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions that support organizational growth.
  • Maintain familiarity with RF-scanning Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and bin-location inventory practices.
  • Remain actively involved in hands-on production operations, including working around automated production lines and supporting floor-level operational needs.
  • Ensure appropriate procedures are followed for hazardous materials and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management within a chemical environment.
  • Oversee the safe operation and certification programs associated with warehouse equipment, including turret, reach, and counter-balance forklifts.
