Our Management Trainee program is built for new and recent graduates who want to learn manufacturing from the ground up and grow into leadership. You'll work hands-on across the operation, contribute to real projects as we stand up the plant, and be mentored by our management team along the way. This is a true ground-floor opportunity: you won't be shadowing a mature operation — you'll help build one. What you'll do Work on a variety of projects tied to setting up and launching our carpet manufacturing operation Rotate through and support core functions — production, quality, process engineering, maintenance, and materials — to build a well-rounded understanding of the plant Assist with equipment setup, process development, and documentation as the operation comes online Collect and analyze production data to support continuous-improvement efforts Learn the carpet tufting process hands-on, on the plant floor Take on increasing responsibility under the guidance of experienced managers, with a path toward a permanent management role What you'll bring Required Bachelor's degree (new or recent graduate) in engineering or a similar technical field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Eagerness to learn and to be hands-on on the plant floor Good communication skills and adaptability in a fast-changing startup environment Comfort with basic data tools (Excel) Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work on-site in Norcross, GA Preferred Internship, co-op, or project experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting Coursework or interest in industrial, mechanical, chemical, or textile engineering Familiarity with process-improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma concepts Work environment & physical demands On-site at our Norcross, GA facility Manufacturing plant floor: regular standing and walking, with exposure to machinery, noise, and typical plant conditions Compensation & benefits $55,000 per year Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) with 50% match up to 4% 8 paid holidays + 10 PTO days MM Tufting is an equal opportunity employer.
