In this role, you will support the store manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your energetic approach will motivate the team, optimize sales performance, and maintain a welcoming environment for customers and employees alike. Responsibilities Assist the store manager in supervising daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to enhance performance and customer satisfaction Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales opportunities Manage cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems, payroll processing, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and integrity Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while maintaining a clean, organized store environment Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to foster positive shopping experiences Assist in marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales growth Requirements Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory role within retail or grocery environments Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively across shifts Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, sales management, inventory control, and pricing strategies Experience with POS systems, cash handling, payroll administration, bookkeeping, and budgeting processes Skilled in employee orientation, training & development, interviewing techniques, and team management Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, marketing tactics, and wireless sales is preferred Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure Bilingual or multilingual capabilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively A proactive attitude with strong time management skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service Join us as an Assistant Manager if you're ready to lead a vibrant team in a fast-paced retail environment!
