Flexible availability required, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency coverage Job Summary SpringHill Suites and Residence Inn by Marriott in Carmel, Indiana, are seeking an experienced and results-driven Dual Hotel General Manager to lead the overall operations of both properties. The Dual General Manager will provide strategic and hands-on leadership while driving guest satisfaction, associate engagement, revenue growth, profitability, and brand compliance. This position requires a strong hospitality leader who can successfully manage two hotels, develop an effective leadership team, and maintain a positive culture of service and accountability. Responsibilities Direct all operational and financial activities for both hotels Lead department managers and associates across front office, housekeeping, maintenance, breakfast, sales, and other operational areas Recruit, train, coach, evaluate, and develop hotel leadership and associates Build a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and exceptional guest service Establish property goals and ensure both hotels meet operational and financial objectives Monitor guest feedback, online reviews, and satisfaction scores Ensure guest concerns are addressed promptly and professionally Maintain compliance with Marriott brand standards, quality-assurance requirements, and operating procedures Analyze revenue, occupancy, average daily rate, RevPAR, labor costs, expenses, and profitability Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, business plans, and capital-expenditure recommendations Review financial statements and implement corrective action when performance falls below expectations Partner with sales and revenue-management teams to increase occupancy, market share, and total hotel revenue Develop relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and key accounts Ensure proper staffing levels while maintaining productivity and labor-cost goals Oversee preventive maintenance, property condition, safety, security, and cleanliness Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment, safety, and lodging requirements Communicate hotel performance, challenges, and action plans to ownership or the management company Serve as the primary property leader during emergencies and critical incidents Perform additional responsibilities as required by ownership or the management company Qualifications At least three years of hotel leadership experience is preferred Previous experience as a Hotel General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Director of Operations is strongly preferred Dual-property or multi-property leadership experience is highly preferred Marriott-branded hotel experience is strongly preferred Proven ability to improve guest satisfaction, financial performance, and associate engagement Strong knowledge of hotel operations, budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and financial reporting Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Experience recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing teams Ability to manage competing priorities across two properties Proficiency with hotel property-management systems, financial reports, and Microsoft Office Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency situations Benefits Benefits may include: Competitive salary Performance-based bonus opportunities Marriott Explore employee hotel discounts Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Retirement benefits Professional-development opportunities Career advancement within the organization Additional benefits based on eligibility and company policy Apply Today If you are an experienced hospitality leader with a passion for developing teams, improving hotel performance, and delivering memorable guest experiences, we encourage you to apply.
