Executive Director Reach Resource Services Flint, MI Job Details Full-time $72,500 - $79,800 a year 13 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Flexible schedule Life insurance Qualifications Social media platforms Bachelor's degree Human Services Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Director to lead and inspire our organization dedicated to serving youth, adults and families in crisis experiencing homelessness. This position involves strategic leadership, program development, fund development, community engagement and personnel management. The Executive Director will champion social services initiatives, oversee daily operations, and ensure the organization's mission is realized through innovative programs and effective management. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader committed to making a tangible difference in Genesee, Shiawassee and Lapeer counties while guiding a dedicated team toward excellence in service delivery. Qualifications
    Education Preferred:
    MSW or MA in Sociology, Psychology, Guidance & Counseling, Education, Business Education or Public Administration.
    • Licensed or eligible for license within the first year of employment.
    Other Required:
    Bachelors' degree in one of the above areas and four years' experience in child caring institution or child-placement agency in the following areas - criminal justice, program administration, casework supervisor, counseling and budget preparation.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal, with clients, funders, community partners, staff, Board and media. Skills in public speaking and use of social media. Personnel Responsibilities
    • Supervise Program Coordinators, Business Operations Manager, Facility Operations Manager, and Administrative Manager.
    • Overall management of personnel in compliance with board of directors approved agency employee handbook, federal, state, county, and local regulations.
    • Responsible for staff hiring, training, development, supervision and team building, and terminations. Maintains personnel records in accordance with legal and contractual requirements. Fiscal Responsibilities
    • Completion of annual budgets with regular monthly monitoring and reporting to the Board of Directors and funding sources as required.
    • Prepares all funding proposals, grant applications, and program reports for funding sources, community requests and Reach Resource Services Board.
    • Maintains project budget and complies with the requirements of the grants and contracts, maintaining records and submitting required reports as required.
    • Supervision of the completion and maintenance of agency fiscal operations including cash receipts, cash disbursements, general ledger, balance sheet, annual independent financial statements and 990. Community Relations Responsibilities
    • Works with schools, public and private social service agencies, the courts, law enforcement agencies, national, state and local government units, funding sources and youth to develop and improve Flint and Genesee County, Shiawassee County, and Lapeer County youth services.
    • Responsible for the planning, implementation, promotion, coordination and evaluation of agency programs.
    • Prepares and presents an annual plan to the Board and reports on the project's progress for Reach Resource Services funding sources.
    • Is available to the community as well as, public and private agencies to promote the program and its objectives.
    • Participation in national and state networks, coalitions, and/or community collaborative to advance the purposes of the agency and the needs of those served. Programming Responsibilities
    • Oversee the continuation and development of programs in accordance with the agency mission statement.
    • Assure that the agency delivers services in a trauma informed care approach built upon the framework of positive youth development.
    • Provide adjudication for those seeking and/or receiving services who may have a grievance with a program or personnel.
    • Development of program policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory bodies and funding sources. Board of Directors Responsibilities
    • Provide support to the Board of Directors for the recruitment, orientation, and communications for new and existing members.
    • Assure the agency legal documentation with federal and state authorities is filed in compliance with regulatory requirements, i.e.. Sam.gov, State of Michigan Annual Report, By-laws, Articles of Incorporation, IRS not-for-profit certifications, and others that may change with new statutes.
    • Provide monthly reports on the agency's fiscal position, programming, and other pertinent information requested by the members of the board.
