: We are seeking a strategic, hands-on General Manager to lead and grow our operations team at our Albert Lea location. This role will oversee all aspects of operational performance, from team leadership and management to quality assurance and profitability. You'll work alongside our leadership team to develop and implement plans that drive business results while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide leadership and direction to departments across production, marketing and sales.
- Define, track, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with company goals.
- Champion a positive, high-performing culture grounded in our core values.
- Hire, train, and develop internal team members.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, installation, and company standards.
- Resolve customer issues with urgency, professionalism, and a focus on delighting the customer.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership on staffing strategies, performance management, and policy implementation.
- Accurately oversee payroll submissions and ensure timely reporting.
- Monitor budgets and expenses, ensuring alignment with profit goals.
- Manage company assets including facilities, fleet, and equipment.
- Use tools like rForce to analyze performance metrics and guide decision-making.
- Participate in company training and leadership development programs.
- Assumes other responsibilities as assigned to support team success.
REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in construction, home improvement, or operations management.
- Proven success leading teams, managing subcontractors, and improving processes.
- Strong organizational and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and operations platforms (rForce experience plus).
- A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for results.
